Gusto is the first scooter in the 110cc segment from the Indian two-wheeler space and is available in two variants DX, HX and VX pricing at Rs.43,000, Rs.49,000 and Rs.51,000 respectively. The 109.6cc single cylinder, four-stroke and air-cooled motor is said to power up the engine at 8PS of peak power and 8.5 Nm of maximum torque. This mill gets mated to CVT transmission unit. The engine tends to be smooth and vibe free, thus gives the riders an effortless start. Gusto is the only scooter that gets the largest wheelbase of 1275mm in the 110cc segment .It comes loaded with features like pseudo-air vents, clear lens indicator, chunk grab rail, telescopic front forks, MRF Nylogrip tyres meaty exhaust with 12-inch tubeless tyres, stop lights and reflectors. Instrument cluster gets the analogue speedometer and the fuel gauge with silver lining. Moreover, the features like flip key,follow me and follow me lamps, upright seating posture are being provided with the model VX. The company promises over the factors like lightness, fuel-efficiency and affords through the implementation of MTEC engine technology .Features like strong crankshaft and bearings and high inertia magneto with greater energy ignition coil and an efficient series regulator are said to be comprised within this technology. Thus one can claim the fuel efficiency of about 80kmpl. The scooter makes use of 130mm drum brakes at both the front and rear ends. The rivals include Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter, Hero Maestro and Yamaha Alpha.
