Kuga,the compact SUV of Ford is one of the upcoming cars based on the losis X concept.The car made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.It features kinetic style design.It will be coming as both petrol and diesel engine options.The diesel variant will be launched first and the petrol variant will be launched later.The diesel variant will feature a 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engine mated to a six-speed transmission.The diesel engine of Kuga will pump out a power of 134bhp.Similarly,the petrol variant will feature a 2.2-litre five cylinder petrol engine delivering a power of 197bhp.Kuga featuring a 2.2-litre diesel engine can also be expected.The standout features of Kuga include big wheel arches,a strong shoulder line,a steeply raked windscreen and an ellipsoid glass area.The above mentioned features along with the hollowed out section under the headlights offer the car an interesting look.The car will hold a lot of storage space inside but high-quality materials are not used as the plastic looks shiny and hard.Standard six airbags are present for safety purposes.No doubt,Kuga will surely shine as a family car in India.
