Honda launches City Exclusive variant
Honda today launched new variant of city called “City Exclusive”. City Exclusive comes with several new interior and exterior luxury features.
The new variant is an addition to the City line-up, offering a distinctive combination of refined styling and high quality. The additions of leather seats & leather steering in MT & AT and leather gear shift knob (only in MT) enhances the feeling of luxury and elegance of the car.
Adding to the stylish and trendy look of the car is a Chrome trunk garnish and Chrome door sash moulding along with an ‘Exclusive’ rear badge and Body coloured mud flaps that enhances the ownership experience of the Honda City ‘Exclusive’.
With this, the Honda City range also gets a new colour- Urban Titanium – apart from the existing colours- Taffeta White, Alabaster Silver, Crystal Black Pearl, Bold Beige Metallic and Habanero Red.

Bajaj to increase the prices of Pulsar and Discover
Following the car makers, Bajaj Auto – India’s leading two wheeler maker plans to raise the price of its products. Price hike is expected to be in the range of Rs500 – Rs1000 depending on the bike model. Bajaj currently sells Pulsar 135, pUlsar 150,pulsar 180 and pulsa 220. Discover family includes Discover 100 and Discover 150. Few of the Bajaj models like Discover 150 has a waiting period of one week. As the demand is huge, manufacturers are going ahead with their decision of price hike despite the festive season.

As we reported earlier, Hero Honda has launched Hunk 2010. The new Hunk comes with list of new features and styling. Hero Honda has also launched a new commercial for Hunk 2010 which will hit the TV screens soon. Hunk 2010 comes with new aggressive visor, redesigned front fender and classy LED tail lamps (similar to CBZ X-treme). The other features in Hunk 2010 includes tubeless tyres, new muffler cover and new graphics on the tank. The most important feature which Hero Honda has added to the new Hunk is the rear disc brake.

Tata to launch Indica Vista 95bhp

Tata Motors is gearing up for the festive season in its own style. While the much expected Aria will hit the showrooms on October 11th, Tata would add a powerful variant of Indica Vista. Tata Indica Vista will get a powerful 95bhp engine on the likes of Punto 90bhp. Remember, Fiat recently launched tuned up variant of punto called Punto 90bhp. Tata Indica Vista is currently offered in petrol and diesel variants. The Indica Vista multijet currently produces 75bhp. The launch of indica vista 95bhp will add flair to Tata’s marketing theme of Indica Vista “surprise yourself”. Tata Indica vista 95bhp is expected to be priced competitively and the launch would happen by the mid of October 15th.
Tata Motors hikes prices of Indica,Indigo Manza,Sumo and Grande MK2
Following the Maruti and Hyundai, Tata Motors has raised the prices of its products – indica, indigo manza, sumo and Grande Mk2. The price increase is as follows
Tata Indica and the Tata Indigo family (Indica V2, Indigo e-CS, Indigo Manza etc) sees a price raise in the range of Rs. 4,500 to Rs. 14,000 depending upon the model.
In utility vehicles, the price increase is on Tata Sumo and Tata Grande MK II, in the range of Rs. 7,800 to Rs. 10,300 The price increase is in the light of increase in input costs.
Toyota increses the prices of Corolla Altis, Innova and Fortuner
October 1st has not brought good news car buyers. Several manufacturers are planning for the price hike and few have already announced it. Toyota which sells Corolla Altis, Innova,Fortuner and Land Cruiser has increased the prices of its models owing to the rise in prices of raw materials. The key note here is traditionally the manufacturers used to announce discount to tap the festive demand (Dussera and Diwali). But this time manufacturers have done the opposite
