Have booked today hero maestro, will share on road review soon.
Let me share now the shrowroom review:-
i went to ishna motors at andheri e for booking, they explained me the features of it, but most were already digged from net, only bad news he added was the bodt is made up of abs plastic....i thought hero would comeup with some durable product, but dissapointed. However staff didnt had demo to show so our conversation was short and up to the point.
I left showroom empty handed as they were not ready to book, but after an hour they called me up and asked to come back for booking. They were waiting for me till around 8pm, so that creates good impression and careness for new user.
Then next day mornin i went to fort point mahim, there too they exained the known things, but no test rides.
I must say hero has good and decent staff
I booked it today and now biggest wait in my life begins to count down.
Will continue this post bt my first on road review soon

hero maestro is better but price is bitter. when maestro come sin our hand, price goes to rs.51000 thousand due to tax insu and accessories.so if they decrease price rs.42000 instead of rs.45700,it is nice buy and common man can afford,it also increase market share,sale and prestige of hero motocorp product people will say hero not only concentrate on his profit but he also keeps in mind common man.this image building would be helpful to common man and company both.this is my personal opinion and humble suggestion

i took the first delivery of mestro in mumbai, and had been evaluating the bike since its first look in Aug-11, when it was revealed in london, event integrated with name change of HERO.
Review (my personal opinion):
Pros:
Looks- new and fresh desing, the over all look is fatty and to the gorund, but still holds good groud clearnece
Colour quality- ive got Red colour body, finishing is very good and shine is also good
Engine- ************ absoultely no words to define the refinement of engine, silent but powerful, sober but robust
Lights/electical- Decent front focus, visible wincklers, side lights and same switch pads as of activa.
Cons
Balance- balance is not so good, as compared with TVS WEGO, but still its a stable scooter, does not blow away if heavy vehicle passes by
Weight- Even Shredding of metallic body has not resulted in body weigh loss.

for booking .i have activa..bit confusion with activa...its specious,in length and width...heighted by 18mm...good ground clearance....torque is same as activa..like bikes ignition cdi system....engine 4 stroke dhc...some digital meter with service due warning...combined braking system,,,engine with honda tech support even departed...both tyres tuff tube...milage no guess but weight is reduced to 109 kg(activa114 kg)may give 5 km extra as comapre to activa,,must have good balance

own activa...thinking of second maestro...good scooter almost activa...price 5000 extra...height 18mm high with broder wisth and lenth at least 2 cm..digital display with service reminder...combi brake...cdi ignition like bikes..both tuff tyres..parking brake...light weight 109 kg..engine like activa air cooled ,4 stroke with dch still tech support with honda ,i told..milage comapnies guess 67km per lit...i felt 3 to 5 km extra to activa..masculine look...good colors..no test ride...accessories steel guard not avilable but 30 days avialable

at today petrol price 70 per liter 350/-rs mein tank full ho jata hai
i test both activa and maestro and decided to buy hero maestro and i am very happy
it cost me exact rs.53,340/- with complete accesssories
like mat,buzzer,back gaurd,front gaurd,side stand and many more i cant remember
hero maestro
51340/- scooter cost
2000/- extra complete accessories
where honda activa showroom asking for 4400/- for extra accesories.

it is the best scooter i have ever seen i buyed this abt 1 week and it is giving the milage of 57 kmpl and its top speed is 87 km/h it is very comfortable and its riding is too smooth it is better than activa,aviator,rodio,duro it is best scooter ihave ever seen.

I have purchased Maestro few days back and its total 150 KMs of run as on 20.11.12. It has given me Mileage of 41.7 in the City drive conditions (some time only one passenger, some time two adult, some time two adult with two children also). However the company people were saying that it will give 30-35 of Mileage till 3rd service and after 3rd service it will give 55-60. So the Mileage is perfect infect more as per their say. The Scooter is very good, head lights are very powerful, pick-up is also excellent but plastic body is the drawback. Over all, if plastic body does not make any concern for one, the Scooter is very good infect excellent.

Technical not good, no trained staff, no mileage as per commitment 50 km/l. no technical staff to set the mileage, and no instrument to check the same. Not good so good to buy. Body structure is very very poor, very bad quality Plastic is being used.
