2015 Karizma ZMR_Waste of Money

Good:
Instrument Cluster, Mirrors, Rear Disk Brake, Large Windshield, Grippy Rear tyre, Brakes, Seats.
Bad:
Built Quality, Vibrations, Headlight, Weight, High Speed Stabilty

Look and Style

This is subjective. As per me it looks great. I have the 2015 White ZMR and it definitely grabs attention at every signal. Colour scheme used is good. However, a custom paintjob option is available with Fort Point Hero, Mahim.

Comfort

Seats are very comfortable, suspension is also of average comfort. Suspension is too soft, front bottoms out with a loud thud in potholes. Rear suspension is of average comfort. Seating position is NOT AT ALL comfortable, seat is too long so its not possible to grip the tank with your knees. Pillion seat is of superb comfort. Fully digital instrument console is very good, has a sophisticated feel to it.

Pickup

Very good acceleration, feels much faster than the P220F. Bike accelerates very well all the way to 125 kmph, top speed is around 135 kmph. It surely can match the 200NS in 0-100 kmph timings.

Mileage

35 kmpl in city and similiar on highways. Never got below 35 kmpl till date.

Best Features

Instrument Cluster, Mirrors, Rear Disk Brake, Large Windshield, Grippy Rear tyre, Brakes, Seats.

Need to improve

First the VIBRATIONS, they are extremely annoying and spoils the fun of riding. Every inch of the bike vibrates, including under-seat, foot-pegs and handlebar.

Bike needs a revised gearing, not apt for city or highway.

Headlights need to be 55/60W, the current 35W setup is insufficient for night riding.

Built Quality is not good, too much rattles in every nook and corner of the bike.

Front tyre grip is not good, loses traction on wet roads.

Both front and rear suspension needs to be tweaked for stability, high speed stability is not good at all. Rear suspension too bouncy.

The new clutch is a major issue
