Engine of Hyundai Fluidic Verna
The Verna is available in four engine options in which two engines are of petrol and other two are diesel type. Both the higher engines are available with manual and automatic transmission. The engine options includes 1.4L and 1.6L petrol and diesel respectively. The 1.4L, 4 cylinder in-line petrol engine of the verna car gives the displacement of about 1396cc and it offers the maximum power of 107 PS @ 6300 RPM and torque of about 13.8 KG @ 5000 RPM. The 1.4L diesel engine of the car is same as that of the 1.4L petrol version but it delivers the peak power of about 90 PS @ 4000 RPM and torque of about 22.43 KG @ 1750-2750 RPM. The 1.6L petrol engine comes in two transmissions such as automatic and manual transmission modes. This petrol variant gives the maximum power of about 123.05 PS @ 6300 RPM and torque of about 15.8 KG @ 4200 RPM. Likewise, the 1.6L diesel engine is same as that of 1.6L petrol version offering the 1582cc displacement. This in-line 4-cylinder diesel engine distributes the maximum power of 128.08 PS @ 4000 RPM and peak torque of 26.50 KG @ 2750 RPM. These engines ensures best performance and fuel efficiency.
Acceleration, Mileage and Fuel Economy
The Hyundai Fluidic Verna offers a decent acceleration in which the 1.6L petrol version car can reach 0-60 kmph in just 4.87 seconds where as the 1.6L diesel version can touch the speed of 0-60 kmph in just 4.71 seconds. Since the car has powerful engine definitely it would give great performance. Overall, the car holds the compression ratio of 10 for the petrol versions and 17-17.3 for the diesel variants. It is believed that the mileage delivered by the car is also too good. The 1.4L petrol engine of the Verna generates a mileage of 17.43 kmpl and its diesel engine gives the best-in-segment mileage of 23.50 kmpl. Similarly, the 1.6L petrol engine offers the mileage of about 17.01 kmpl and its diesel engine delivers 22.32 kmpl. Actually, the Verna is fitted with an ECO mode indicator which helps in better fuel efficiency. The Hyundai Fluidic Verna is ideal for both long and short distance travels.

Hyundai has designed the interiors with latest technology features which is very elegant. The quality of the interior features are also very good and decent. The car comprises a dual toned dashboard with nice steering wheel which looks very similar to that of i20 except the adjusting facility which is present in Verna. It is easy to operate various functions with the audio and Bluetooth control buttons available on the steering wheel. It comes with the V shaped central console and an integrated MP3/FM player enhancing the enjoyment factor during travelling. The centre console also consists of a single zone climate control and an unique air purifier. The music system of the Hyundai Fluidic Verna involves four speakers, two tweeters along with two remotes and speed dependent auto volume which assures perfect music experience. The car comes with the perforated leather upholstery along with the height adjustment driver seat giving comfortable journey for long rides. It has a cooling glove box for keeping things such as cold drinks or chocolates. Since the car is very spacious it is possible that five members can take their seat comfortably with adequate thigh rest and good back support. The car possess a rear camera which displays colour on the centre rear view mirror while in reverse gear. The interiors are fully finished with faux wood inserts which looks very nice and the top end variants of the car comes with standard push button start as well as keyless entry. The auto folding mirrors are also standard along with auto dimming centre rear view mirror on the top end variants of the Hyundai Fluidic Verna. Storage spaces are good enough to keep the cans, sunglasses, bottle holders etc. The interiors are really good and it is a perfect mixing of technology and elegance.
Hyundai Fluidic Verna Exteriors
While talking about the exteriors, the Hyundai Fluidic Verna comes with the bright headlights and L shaped foglamps. Hyundai’s own hexagonal grille looks like a sport car and it consists of a thin waist line. The side mirrors are very stylish with integrated turn lights and it has a chromed coloured door handles and alloy wheels which is quite good and unique. The Verna sports a wide cover around the tail-lamps on its big bumper which is eye-catchy. It has a twin exhausts at the rear part of the Verna adding sportive look to the vehicle and it makes the people to stare at the car. The length of the car is nearly 4370 mm while the width of the car is 1700 mm and the height is 1475 mm respectively. The Hyundai Fluidic Verna comes with an attractive 16 inch alloy rims with 195/55 R16 Bridgestone tyres which is good for road grip at high speed and smooth turning at corners with the minimum turning radius of about 10.4 m. It is believed that Hyundai Fluidic Verna would be tough competitor to its similar other cars in the segment.
Braking, Handling and Safety Features
The Hyundai Fluidic Verna has no negative thought regarding the braking, handling and safety features. The braking system is developed on the basis of variants which may vary according to the type which ensures complete safety of passengers. The 1.4L petrol/diesel models are packed with ventilated front disc brakes and rear drum brakes while the 1.6L petrol/diesel models has disc brakes in both front and back wheels. For better safety, it comes with Anti Lock Braking System with EBD system, six airbags, optional fog lamps, front and rear seat belts of high quality material etc. These features altogether ensures complete safety for all.
According to me, look and style is the best thing in Hyundai Fluidic Verna. Pick up of the car is just ok and fine mileage. Compare to other sedans, it has nothing great features. The service is also very poor and they are not able to identify the original problem. After service also, I got many problems with the vehicle and I paid nearly 40000 for service at 49000kms. Hyundai people has no other solution and they should go only Hyundai cars. I wont go hereafter for Hyundai cars and I am in the plan to change my current car.
The Hyundai Fluidic Verna got brilliant appearance and elegant style. If a person who has driven the verna seated at the rear seat he would be definitely scared as shit. Pickup is too too decent and it offers excellent mileage. All the features are very brilliant. My experience with the vehicle is very great and I like it very much compared to other and i feel always very pleasure while driving.
hello friends, I am having a Fluidic Verna just for six months. The car has been well packed with high class specs including curtain airbags, decent dashboard, modern interiors etc. But the front and rear bumpers are too too weak which needs little improvement. Even travelling in a slow moving traffic, my cars rear bumper got cracked open while a bike crashed into it. And the paint quality is also not so satisfied. I have never expect such a poor build quality and paint quality from Hyundai.
No other car can beat the Hyundai Fluidic Verna in terms of its look and style. The comfortable features are not so much satisfactory but the pickup is really appreciable along with an attractive mileage of around mileage 12-13 kmpl. It has lot of best features including reverse camera and manouverability of the vehicle followed by all controls in hand. Overall Experience according to me is very superb.
