Beneli TNT 25 Review

In 2014, the mark of being the smallest Benelli did not have a place with the TNT 300 any longer. It was at EICMA in Milan two years prior that we first observed the BN251. Just about a year later, the BN251 has at last arrived in India. Just, in India, it is being known as the TNT 25.

Color Options

Beneli TNT 25 comes in two distinct colors. These include Rosso, Bianco.

Design and Style

The TNT25 is a pleasant looking bike. A considerable measure of the styling signals take after an indistinguishable heading from the KTM 200 Duke. It is minimalistic and aggressive with its flat handlebars, slash-cut tank and exposed trellis frame. I do wish that the front end had more particular styling. To me, it looks same as Duke. It is a roomy bike and the riding position, while sporty, isn’t too aggressive. The seat is comfortable too and doesn’t lead to any aches and strains after long runs in the saddle.

There is one thing about the TNT that I truly like and that is the entire bundle of accessories that are now accessible for it. Everything from customizable levers to swap tops for the oil filler, brake repository and even gold race foot pegs. There is likewise a whole line of fork, edge and swing-arm sliders.

Engine specification

The little Benelli uses a 249cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine to make its 28.6PS and 21.6Nm. This is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

But the engine does not feel that much nice while riding. It is an extremely grungy motor and is vibey appropriate from sit out of gear. The more you rev it, the more vibes you feel. Foot pegs, seat and handlebars- it is a three pronged assault that leaves your limbs buzzing even in the wake of venturing off the cruiser.

The TNT 25 is a misleadingly fast bike. When you’re actually riding it, you get a feeling that the motorcycle isn’t really all that eager to go fast. But when you actually time your acceleration runs, you will realize that the Benelli is actually quite a quick little number.

It checks 100kmph in 8 seconds. With the refinement circumstance being what it is, you wind up cruising at 100kmph with motor ticking endlessly at around 7,000rpm on a motor that redlines at 10,000rpm. A taller 6th apparatus would've made cruising at high speeds more endurable.

Braking and Handling

Like most of the other TNTs, the 25 too uses a Trellis frame with upside down forks up front and a single hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The suspension is set up very firm, and the ride can get somewhat rough over terrible areas of landing area. In any case, it isn't irritating or uncomfortable, even over potholes.

The Benelli isn't a snappy directing cruiser, however nor is it sluggish when tossed into corners. It is a very neutral handler and can hold its line quite well.

In many bikes, this weave is discarded inside a few motions of the frame. In the TNT however, this took up to ten, which took away a considerable measure of your trust in pushing the cruiser hard and made it feel like a bike that is wavering on the edge of stability.

But, if anyone in a plan to buy TNT, make sure you take it out for a test ride and keep an eye out for that weave and see how comfortable you are with it.

Fuel Efficiency

As far as fuel efficiency concerned, the TNT 25 returned 28.8kmpl in the city and 35.6kmpl out on the highway. Yet, what is amazing is that in real world riding conditions, we could complete a 300km run with simply over a half a tank of gas. This included generally highway riding at high speeds. Not terrible.

Verdict

The little Benelli is entirely a pleasant cruiser. It won't not be the most energizing thing in the market today, yet it does essentially all that it embarks to do quite well. The only problem with this is that the engine will make us feel like it is a tractor’s engine. It enhances the capabilities of the motorcycle a fair bit for very little money.
