Tata Ace CNG mini truck is powered by the 275 CNG BS IV Water-cooled Engine. The model is Tata 275 IDI NA (BSIII and BS IV). The engine can churns out 21 HP@3400 rpm power and 49 Nm at 220rpm torque on ride. It is equipped with Single Plate Dry Friction Diaphragm clutch. The Ace CNG is powerful giving you 21% gradeability and 18% Grade Restart ability. The engine mated with Synchromesh (4 Forward Gears). The Cabin is spacious and provided with seating capacity of Driver 1. The brakes fitted for safety is Dual Circuit Hydraulically Activated brake type. The front and rear equipped with Rigid Axle with Parabolic Leaf Spring suspension. The brakes in this are Front disc and rear drum brakes. The Tata Ace CNG features Mechanical steering too.

Tata Ace CNG


The Tata Ace was born in 2005 and was designed mostly for the Indian market. With a length of only 3800 mm and a width of 1500 mm, the Tata Ace is the smaller brother of the Super Ace model and is positioned in the same segment with models like the Daihatsu Hijet, Piaggio Porter or Suzuki Carry. Detailed description of the trucks is given below.

Dimensions


The mini truck sits on tiny 13 inch wheels, but it has a pretty generous load area which has a 2140 mm length and 1430 width. It measures 3800mm in length, 1500mm in width and 1845mm in height and a wheelbase of 2100mm. It has a ground clearance of 160mm and turning circle radius of 4.3mm.

Design and Style


Regardless of its minimized measurements, the Tata Ace components a body on casing development which improves its utilitarian character. For dealing the generous payloads and harsh terrains, the Tata Ace is equipped with parabolic leaf suspensions at both front and rear. The heavy duty suspensions are combined with hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers. This configuration offers a bumpy ride and you should also be prepared for poor road stability. The good part is that the steering is pretty accurate and rewards you with a proper road feedback. The Tata Ace is also surprisingly agile around the city and has a minimum turning circle diameter of 8.6 meters. The stopping power is assured by discs at the front and drums at the rear. The brakes aren’t something to rave about, but you won’t need any stronger performances either, as the engine power is pretty small.

Verdict


It's simple and even reasonable to scrutinize the Tata Ace.
