Ashok Leyland known for its wider offering in the commercial vehicle sector launched the dost in cng variant to widen its lcv range. The Dost CNG features an advanced CNG engine with BS-IV compliant delivering flat torque curve and lesser gear shifting. It is best suited for both bulk and voluminous load since the Dost CNG is well known for its superior loading capability in loading area greater than 40 sq.ft. The vehicle has a spacious cabin with AC which is optional in Diesel engine variant providing more comfort and luxury. The new Dost CNG resembles like modern Euro look cab with awesome exterior styling and dual tone interiors. For better safety, it comprises booster brakes with LSPV, ELR seat belts, front impact absorption bar and bigger R14 tubeless tyres. In addition, the Ashok Leyland Dost LS can be used in some other variety of applications including Refrigerated containers, steel containers, Ambulance, Aluminum fixed side decks and service at site. The cost of Ashok Leyland Dost is available at a price range of around Rs.5 lakh.
