Nissan NV200 was first introduces as a LCV and later developed into a 5 seater/ 7 seater passenger compact segment wagon version. NV200 Vanette has a 1.6 L HR16DE petrol engine that could achieve a fuel economy of 14 kmpl. The Vanette will be positioned against Toyota Innova in India, and the key factor is the fuel efficiency of NV200 Vanette. NV200 Vanette may also feature versatality in seating arrangment, making it more advantageous than some of the rivals in the Indian MPV segment. Expect Vanette in the later half of 2011.
