Maruti, the stunning four wheeler manufacturer has showcased its new hatchback christened as Palatte which is expected to be priced around Rs.5,00,000. The Maruti Palatte will be employed with a 660cc petrol engine developing the maximum power output of 54 bhp at 6500 rpm and maximum torque output of 63 Nm at 4000 rpm. The powerful engine of the car will be mated to the five speed gearbox with manual transmission for better ride. The Palatte will have an excellent external dimensions in terms of length, width and height includes 3395 mm, 1475 mm and 1735 mm. The vehicle will be fitted with an electric power steering for simple handling of the car. The braking will be really good with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. This combination of disc and drum brakes helps to stop the vehicle immediately in case of any emergency braking. The Palatte will come with a steel wheel which is quite good.
