Yamaha Fazer has been built with excellent proportions. It gives the feel of looking at an international and solid big-bike. The 4-stroke air cooled engine with the displacement of 153cc is said to power up the bike. It delivers the power upto 14 PS at 7500 rpm and torque up to 14 Nm at 6000 rpm that passes to the rear wheels through the 5-speed transmission unit. The triple macho design concepts are more impressive. Better handling, exhaust efficiency and good concentration of mass is gained through the means of mono cross suspension and Mid ship muffler. It is available in two variants Fazer and Fazer FI. Both the model tends to get the same engine except for Fazer FI which gets the fuel- injected mode. At present, Fazer FI is being upgraded with two variants FI-S and FI version 2, tends to inherit all the features of of FZ series. Additionally, Blue-Core technology has been implemented to see improvement in the areas of fuel-efficiency, performance and eco-friendliness.
