About Yamaha YZF-R1
The YZF-R1 is a legend of the supersport world, 1000 cc world super bike and a race-winning machine. Inspite of the very sprinting performance of R1, the ride friendly character is what makes is a unique super motorcycle.YZF R1 features projector type headlamps, SOQI front forks, Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCCI), Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle(YCCT), aluminium pistons, carburized con rods, crossplane crankshaft, slipper type clutch, aluminium frame, adjustable foot rest, thicker rear tyres for best traction feeling.
YZF-R1 is powered by a 998 cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, forward inclined parallel 4-cylinder, 4-valve, DOHC that generates 180 PS @ 12,500 rpm of peak power and 118.3 Nm @ 10000 rpm of peak torque. The front tyre is attached to 310 mm dual discs while the rear disc is equipped with 220 mm disc.
