Discontinued Bajaj Bike Models
In 1930,it was Jamnalal Bajaj who founded the Bajaj Auto as a part of Bajaj Group for manufacturing and selling scooters as a part that gets included in the range of two-wheeler and three-wheeler segment. Initially Bajaj Auto was started as a firm in the name of M/s Bachraj Trading Corporation Private Limited in 1945 that was intended for importing two-wheelers and three-wheelers in India. Thus Bajaj serves a gateway through which means India had its first set of scooters,when Bajaj Auto imported the Vespa scooters.Later the company acquired the licence for manufacturing two-wheelers and three-wheelers in India and started the production plant in 1960 at Chakan after which the company became Public.It was the Vespa 150,the first two-wheeler to be rolled out as the first Bajaj manufactured product under the license from Piaggio,Italy.After this,there is no stopping for scooters run in India.
