Step 2 - Read the instructions mentioned in the File/Forms carefully.
Step 3 - Complete and attach all the required Documents/Forms as per the Checklist.
Step 4 - Submit the file at the concerned counter of STA office for issuance of notice for the confirmation/ genuineness of NOC from the Issuing Authority (preferred ONLINE ).
Step 5 - On receiving of the NOC confirmation/ genuineness from the Issuing Authority, preferred ONLINE through National Register. Get the NCRB/MOB Report from Police Headquarters, Sector 9, Chandigarh
Step 6 - Submit your file at the concerned counter of the STA for taking Passing Order from Secretary STA, after getting the same deposit the passing fee and reach to Vehicle Passing Location to get Vehicle Inspection (Passing) conducted by the Board of Inspection STA.
Step 7 - After Passing of the vehicle Submit your complete file & fees at the concerned counter of STA office and collect your Fee Receipt.
Step 8 - Go to the High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) counter. Deposit the fee for your HSRP and collect your HSRP Authorization Slip & Fee Slip.
Step 9 - Get your High Security Registration Plate affixed on your vehicle on the assigned fitment date from the R&LA Office.
Step 10 - Collect your Registration Certificate (RC) from the RC Distribution counter at the R&LA Office.

Step 4 - Submit the File to concerned dealing hand at the STA Office for document verification & approval from Secretary STA.
Step 5 - Visit STA office on given dated for confirmation of Approval or Objection (If any), after approval from the Secy. STA Submit fees at the concerned counter and collect your Fee Receipt.
