TVS Motors has launched its new Apache series bike with host of useful features known as Apache RTR 180. It is one of the fuel efficient bike which has been designed exclusively for the daily commuters and most of them are really impressed with its mileage. The price of TVS Apache RTR 180 is found to be around Rs.72,800 which is quite affordable and even the middle class people can be able to buy the bike.

The engine of the bike delivers the peak power output of 12.52 kw (17.3 ps) at 8500 rpm in coupling with the peak torque output of 15.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The bore and stroke of the bike is found to be approximately 62 mm and 52.9 mm along with the compression ratio of 9.5:1. The Apache RTR 180 comes with a Mikuni BS29 carburator and dual mode digital ignition for better performance. The vehicle has both kick start and electric start option in which the rider can easily choose according to their wishes. The engine of the vehicle is mated to the five speed gearbox with a wet multi plate clutch type for smooth and convenient ride. The bike can be able to accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 5 seconds with the maximum speed offered of around 124 kmph.

The front wheel is fitted with a 270 mm disc brake petal type while the rear wheel comes with a 200 mm disc brake which is quite good. Apache 180;good bike for pickup

Awesome looks with the great pickup,that I went up to the top speed of about 120kmph.The suspension is also good.You could feel the power at the throttle.but periodic maintenance is necessary

Superb pickup,but not good at mileage

I own apachae rtr 180 for the past 3 months.The pickup is extraordinary,but the mileage is tad too low at 28kmpl.I hope this might increase after the second service.
