The Tata Indica is packed with powerful brakes and suspension systems in which the vehicle comes with a vaccum assisted, independent dual circuit, diagonal split hydraulic brakes through Tandem Master Cylinder. The front brake of the car is fitted with the ventilated disc brake while the rear brake is of drum brake. The combination of disc and drum brakes helps to halt the vehicle even travelling at high level of speed. On the other hand, the front suspension has an independent, lower wishbone, McPherson Strut Type and the rear suspension is of independent, semi-trailing arm with coil spring mounted on hydraulic shock absorbers. This suspension helps to handle the car in an easy and smooth manner. The CR4 LX variant of the vehicle has been offered with a Duo Float Suspension. Apart from that, the car gets a rack and pinion with collapsible steering column for better handling of the vehicle. The side profile of the car is decorated with a radial tubeless tyres of size 155/80 R13 offering better road performance. The tubeless tyres are of puncture resistant and it prevents from unwanted puncture problems and skidding problems.

Verdict
The Tata Indica is considered to be one of the fuel efficient car with spacious cabin. The vehicle has some drawbacks in which the fit and finish is not satisfactory. The refinement and reliability of the car is not so good.
I am also having Tata Indica car for the four years and i really hate the vehicle to the core. It is just a worst car and i regret it especially for the dealer service. Actually my car used to emit lot of black smoke and used to switch off regularly in the morning. This has been going on for the past 3 years or more. While I informed to the service center, they mentioned that it was a bad glow plug and have replaced. But again I got the same issue. I am totally disappointed with the Tata service. For your kind information, I had Maruti car before and Santro too. But I faced much problems only on the Tata vehicles and have never experienced like this. So think twice before buying a new vehicle.
Tata Indica is a very good choice for people who loves driving for long hours in a day. Because the engine of the vehicle has proved over a period of time for its reliability and performance delivery. It has a comfortable seating arrangement too which makes the journey very pleasurable. While going at a very high speed, the vehicle gives more mileage and stable. Personally, I love the car very much and i recommended for all people who loves driving for long hours.
Hi everybody, my vehicle is Tata Indica and i have serviced for last three times. But i have experienced a worst service from the Tata dealer. Actually I gave to fix my rusted battery tray but they have not done their work properly and getting my car in the same stage. Then I tried by own and still the battery tray has not been fixed even after spending my hard earned money. So I recommend everybody not to go for Tata cars and go for any other.
