Hyosung GD250N Review

The Hyosung has decided to bring out its new street sport bike known as GD250N in Indian market which is expected to be priced around Rs.1,10,000. The new bike will be available in various stunning color shades which would definitely impress the young bike enthusiasts. The Hyosung GD250N will be furnished with common design and functional elements which is quite impressive.

Style and Engineering

The new upcoming Hyosung GD250N will come with a sharp and edgy styling which looks really attractive. The front appearance of the bike will be really impressive with the macho style of the bike and it gets an attractive head lamp for bright vision while riding at night time. It has a trendy rear view mirror which helps to know about the rear happenings of the road.

The instrument panel is also very decent with the instruments such as Speedometer, Odometer, fuel guage etc. which helps to display the vital information of the bike and the rider can be able to be updated in just a glance. The motorcycle will have a large and meaty fuel tank which is quite impressive.

The bike will come with a split seating arrangement for much comfortness and the bike features a large under belly exhaust to remove the heat through the silencer. Engine Details

The Hyosung GD250N will be powered by a 249cc, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 stroke, liquid cooled engine which can produce the maximum power output of 28 bhp at 8500 rpm and maximum torque output of 25 Nm at 7000 rpm. The liquid cooled technology of the bike helps to get rid off the heat and allows the engine to be very cool which leads to better performance.

The engine of the new bike will be mated to the six speed gearbox with manual transmission and wet, multi plate clutch type for smooth and convenient ride. The bore and stroke of the GD250N is found to be 73 mm and 59.6 mm along with the compression ratio of 12:1. The bike will be offered with the self start option enables the rider to start vehicle in an easy way.

Braking and Handling

The Hyosung GD250N will be provided with an excellent braking and suspension mechanisms in which both front and rear wheels are fitted with a disc brake for instant braking of the vehicle even riding at high level of speed. The front disc brake will be of 300 mm and the rear brake will be of 230 mm.

Likewise, the motorcycle will be equipped with upside down telescopic forks at the front suspension and hydraulic mono shock with double sided aluminum swing arm at the rear suspension for easy handling of the vehicle. Apart from that, the bike gets a 17 inch alloy wheels with a front tire size of 120/80-16 60H and rear tire size of 170/80-15 77H. This wide tyres helps in providing better road gripness and prevents from puncture problems and skidding problems.
