The bore and stroke of the bike is measured as 63.5 mm and 47.2 mm along with the compression ratio of 11:01. The advanced DOHC Technology of the bike helps to provide high performance even at high RPM and the 4-valve engine helps in delivering high output even in bad road conditions. The starting system of the CBR 150R is of electric start with viscous paper air filter. The bike has a forced pressure and wet pump lubrication type. The engine is mated with a proficient six speed manual transmission with chain drive final transmission and manual clutch with wet multiplate type.

Acceleration and Mileage

Honda claims that the new CBR 150R gives a decent acceleration and mileage. The bike can be able to touch the barrier from 0-60 kmph in just a short span of 4.73 seconds and it can reach 100 kmph in just 12.53 seconds which is quite outstanding. At the same time, while applying brakes, it can de-accelerate from 60-0 kmph in just 16.77m/1.94 seconds. The bike can generate a healthy mileage of about 46.9 kmpl in urbanized roads whereas 42.9 kmpl on highways.

Honda CBR150R Fuel Efficiency

Overall, the mileage offered by the bike is approximately 44.9 kmpl. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is nearly 13 litres which is too good. The fuel efficiency of the bike is really superb since the bike has been designed with the PGM-FI technology which maximizes the efficiency and makes it more responsive while changing conditions.

Brakes and Suspensions

The Honda CBR 150R comes with the diamond frame type and the braking features are really excellent. The front brake of the bike is of 276 mm diameter and the rear brake is of 220 mm diameter with tubeless tyres. Both front and rear brakes are of disc type which provides immediate stopping power of bike in all conditions. This braking performance gives enough safety and security to the riders. The tyres are wider and of tubeless type offering an excellent grip and improved handling. On the other hand, the front suspension is of tube type one side operation such as telescopic fork whereas the rear suspension is of tube type both side operation such as monoshock, rectangular swingarm. The wheels of the bike consists of five spoke alloy wheel with 17 inches rim size. The front tire is measured as 100/80-17 and the rear tire is of 130/70-17 respectively.

Honda CBR150R is not only a sporty bike but also a safety bike with its excellent safety features. The bike has a headlight of 12V 60/55W H4 which gives a bright and clear view to the riders while riding during night time. The ignition is of digital ECU based along with the 12V 6Ah Maintenance Free battery. The seating arrangements are also very safe and secured for both riders and pillions. In addition to all, the brakes gives good grip and easy to handle the bike in any type of road conditions.
