Volkswagen Tiguan SUV makes its Indian debut at the 2016 Auto Expo event. Based on the MQB platform, the Tiguan is available in two variants viz., Comfortline and Trendline with a 141bhp, 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel motor mated to a 7-speed Automatic gearbox. Tiguan features a two wheel drive system and is equipped with excellent features. The SUV looks very sharp with sporty exterior design and the MQB platform makes the car very lighter. In addition, the car is offered with dual LED headlights merging with the grille to form a single element. Fiat revealed that, the Tiguan is the first SUV to be fitted with these headlamps which is really great. Apart from that, the Tiguan has excellent features which includes host of driver assistance, infotainment and safety features (three zone automatic climate control), revised seats, a 5 inch color touchscreen with option of larger 8 inch screen with smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The features may vary from one variant to another.
