Volkswagen fetches its new Passat GTE at the automobile event 2016 Auto Expo held at Delhi which would fight strongly against its similar other cars such as Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and BMW 3-Series. It is likely to get a 1.4 litre petrol engine generating power of 154bhp normally but if the powerhouse combined with an electric drive it gives nearly 215bhp enabling a driving range of around 1000kms. Volkswagen Passat GTE starts its journey in all electric and so emission free mode and it is possible to switch on this electric mode at the push of a button.
