Tiago JTP was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo event. Tiago JTP is nothing but a fully loaded Tiago with better performance equivalent to Baleno RS, Polo GT TSI and Punto Abarth. The engine powering the Tiago JTP is a 1.2-litre Revotron, MPFi with MULTI DRIVE option which churns out a peak power and torque figures of 112bhp @ 6000rpm and 150Nm @ 2000rpm respectively. The engine gets mated to a 5-speed Manual gearbox and offers an ARAI mileage of 23.84 kmpl. Tata has built the Tiago on an all new platform filling the product gap between the Nano and the Bolt. Tiago comes with a multi drive mode such as City and Eco along with an advanced Engine Management System. Apart from that, it has features like bottle holders on all doors, iPad or tablet holding tray inside the glove compartment, hands-free telephony above the driver's head, new fabric for upholstery which we have never seen in any other models. Tiago toughly competes with the likes of Hyundai i10, Maruti Celerio and Wagon R.
