GM India has been enjoying the success of Chevy Beat for quite a while, which prompted the American car maker to plonk a diesel as well as CNG powered Beat soon. GM has stated that it will launch 3 commercial vehicles and two passenger cars. The passenger cars may likely be a hatchback and an entry sedan.
If GM plans to increase its market share in hatchback segment, it may consider relaunching a facelifted Aveo U-VA. The facelifted U-VA will have an all new pair of front face with bigger headlamps, bolder front grilles and smart edges with trendy designs. While the engine may be used from the current U-VA, the facelifts with the additional features may grab many new buyers. Expec facelifted U-VA in 2011 end.
