About Datsun redi-GO

Datsun redi-GO, India’s first urban cross was launched in the month of June 2016 and is the third and most affordable offering of the Japanese automaker in the country. redi-GO made its Indian debut at the 2014 Auto Expo held at New Delhi. Available in five trim levels - D, A, T, T(O) and S, the redi-GO has been equipped with a new Japanese design philosophy called YUKAN - which stands for brave and bold. Powering the hatch is an all-new 0.8L three-cylinder i-SAT engine paired to a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox which delivers peak power and torque figures of 53bhp and 72Nm respectively. The company claimed ARAI mileage of the car is 25.17kmpl and its top speed is 140kmph. The new urban cross features ‘Tall-Boy’ styling and offers best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm, extra roominess, excellent external visibility for the driver and gets a lot of exciting features like digital tachometer, front power windows, child lock for rear doors and so on. Design and Style

Good car but Low Milage and Noisy Engine

Good: mainly good for middle class family, good handling

Redi Go is by all accounts the best alternative as a first car for a working class family. Its spitfire looks, high seating, great taking care of, extraordinary ground clearance and suspension truly aides and general specs the over specs shared by Datsun truly entices however the performance of the car is not as anticipated. The engine is boisterous and it increments promote when you begin the AC. The absence of force gets to be distinctly apparent when you have a full house. You should turn off the AC to make them move. Likewise the normal we have received is surprisingly more dreadful than my 17 year old Maruti 800. So far i have received a normal of 10 km/litre in city with AC, 12 km/l in highway without AC and 11 km/l with AC. My 800 gives me a normal of 15 - 17/l. It’s nowhere close to the organization claim of 25 km/l.
