Honda’s next bike CBR 150R

After the buzz on CBR 250R, here comes the Honda CBR 150R. Thailand media reports that Honda has launched a new bike called Honda CBR 150R. The new CBR 150R is equipped with programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI) engine. Honda CBR 150R like the CBR 250R comes with disc brakes at the front and the rear but bares ABS. Like its predecessors, Honda CBR 150R gets full fairing and split seats. Honda CBR 150R is priced Rs1,12,500 in Thailand Will Honda launch the CBR 150R in India or it will leapfrog and launch the CBR 250R for Indian market. Only time will tell

Honda CBR 250R Specifications and Pictures

Expectations are running high on Honda’s soon to be launched 250cc bike. Though Honda has been silent on the bike, speculations are rife that Honda CBR 250R will be launched this festive season. Honda CBR 250R might come with a single cylinder engine. CBR 250R develops 33bhp of maximum power weighing only 149kg. CBR 250R design seems to be inspired from its bigger sibling Honda VFR. CBR 250R will come with disc brakes at the front and the rear. ABS might be the USP of CBR 250R The bike would feature telescopic suspension at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. We expect the price to be around Rs2.2 lakhs.

Skoda to launch Yeti on November 18th

Skoda’s much expected SUV Yeti will hit the showrooms on November 18th. Yeti powered by 2.0L Common Rail Diesel Engine has already received 1000 bookings according to Skoda. Skoda will announce the price on launch date.

Toyota to launch Etios on December 01

Toyota has finally announced the launch date for the Etios. Since Etios was showcased at 2010 Auto Expo, Toyota has been doing various promotional activities across India. Etios which would come in hatchback and sedan models are the first india specific cars by Toyota. Toyota has roped in music maestro AR Rahman as brand ambassador for Etios. Remember, Toyota is not used to associate brand ambassadors for its products across the globe (Aamir Khan for Innova being an exception). Etios will be launched on December 01. The czech automaker Skoda plans a series of launches to storm the Indian market. Skoda is currently launching new Fabia across india and has aggressive plans to get more customer under its fold.

* Skoda plans to double its sales volume every year

* Skoda eyes to sell 30000 – 40000 units of Fabia next year (which means up from 600-800 units from now to 2500-3000 units). Ambitious goal, isn’t it?
