BMW 5 series Pictorial Review Exteriors

1) BMW 523i front view BMW 5 series is available in three petrol variants – 523i (price Rs37 lakh) 525i (Rs40.9 lakh) and 530i (Rs45 lakh) and one diesel variant – 525d (Rs42.4 lakh). The prices are uniform across the country. BMW already has eight dealers in India – Bangalore,Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai(2), Chandigarh & Delhi(2) and by the end of the 2009, it plans to have 12 dealers. You have to wait for three months to get you hands on your 5 series.

2) BMW 523i side view competes with Mercedes E class and Audi A6 in India. It’s rival S80(frm volvo) will be available soon in India. BMW offers a warranty for the bodywork of 12 years and three years for the paintwork. For the entire car (excluding the replacement of worn parts), Original BMW Parts and Original BMW Accessories, BMW offers a warranty of two years from the date of vehicle registration, regardless of the mileage.

3) BMW 523i quarter view 523i is powered by 2L engine which produces 190PS of power and 235Nm of max torque. 525i is powered by a much powerful 3L engine producing 218PS and 270Nm.Both the engines are mated with 6 speed automatic transmission. BMW claims a composite mileage of 9kpl for 523i.

4) BMW 523i quarter view a Sedan in which dynamics and its style converges to boost its performance. BMW 5 Series Sedan makes use of alumnium and steel in almost perfect proportion – certain engine parts, the bonnet and the front-end structure including side walls are all made of aluminium. As well as reducing overall weight, this ensures an even distribution of weight between the front and rear axles: 50:50 axle load – a key factor in the outstanding agility of the BMW 5 Series.

5) BMW 523i quarter view The 5 series sedans is available in an exclusive range of paint finishes: Black Sapphire, Monaco Blue, Titanium Silver and Platinum Grey and Luxurious Upholstery Materials: Dakota Leather Black, Dakota Leather Grey and Dakota leather Beige.

6) BMW 5 series not only sporty in look: 5 series equipped with DSC(no DSC+) and DTC In critical situations (oversteering or understeering) Dynamic Stability Control decreases torque and brakes individual wheels as required and thus stablises the vehicle. DSC helps prevent loss of traction before the vehicle begins to skid. DSC includes Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), which allows increased wheel slip when a sportier driving style is desired.

7) BMW 523i stylish headlamp and the snout:The front kidney grille – the entire surround and the internal uprights – is finished in chrome, expressing the 5 Series Sedan’s exclusive character. This feature is standard for all models except the 520d.
