RTR 160 is a feature rich sports bike having LED tail lamps, digital speedometer and adjustable clip handlebars. Design and Style
The Apache RTR 160 is one of the modern and trendy bikes exclusively for the young bike enthusiasts. The TVS Apache RTR 160 is powered by a 4 stroke single cylinder engine with a displacement very close to 160 cc. The engine of the bike delivers the peak power output of 11.19 kw (15.2 bhp) at 8500 rpm in coupling with the peak torque output of 13.1 Nm at 6000 rpm. The bore and stroke of the bike is found to be approximately 62 mm and 52.9 mm along with the compression ratio of 9.5:1. The Apache RTR 160 comes with a Mikuni BS26 carburator and dual mode digital ignition for better performance. The vehicle has both kick start and electric start option in which the rider can easily choose according to their wishes. The engine of the vehicle is mated to the five speed gearbox with a wet multi plate clutch type for smooth and convenient ride. The bike can be able to accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 5 seconds with the maximum speed offered of around 120 kmph.

The apache looks are great.But the age of the bike doesnt cross a month,but the engine tends to sound like a buzz.Further vibration is felt that makes me irritating.I had approached the service centre and asked them to solve the issue.Other than the loss of payment,nothing else left with the improvement
apache RTR is a nice bike with its look,pickup.filling my petrol tank for Rs300 a week,I could cover the distance upto 230-250kms.But the problem lies in the silencer,rather than chasnging the tyre that found to be slippery I changed the silencer that got rusted,now,there is no problem with teh silencer
