Intruder 150, the entry-level cruiser motorcycle of Suzuki has been launched at a price of Rs.98,340 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Though the engine and underpinnings of the new Intruder have been shared with the Gixxer, the bike gets some minor changes apart from the design. The Bajaj Avenger rival appears muscular in size as its elder sibling, the Intruder M 1800 and features digital instrument cluster, aerodynamic fuel tank, LED projector headlamp and LED tail lamp. Highlight features of the bike include disc brakes at both the ends, alloy wheels, single-channel ABS, telescopic forks up front and a monoshock unit at the rear suspension. Power train of the Intruder 150 is the same 155cc single-cylinder engine of Gixxer with a 5-speed Manual gearbox churning out 14.8PS of peak power and 14Nm of peak torque output. The engine offers a decent claimed fuel efficiency of 44kmpl which will be around 30kmpl in city driving and around 40kmpl on the highways. No doubt, the new Intruder 150 will also be a successful model for Suzuki like the Gixxer toughly competing with Bajaj's Avenger Street 150 model.
