Hayate, the 110cc bike of Suzuki was unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo. Hayate looks identical to Slingshot and is powered by a 112.8cc, four-stroke, air-cooled and single-cylinder engine which is mated to a four-speed gearbox.The graphics of the bike looks new and it gets a single downtube frame with an archaic tubular swing arm. The bike is mainly targeted at the mass motorcycle segment and is directed at the emerging Indian markets where customers want a bike with style for daily commute. It is expected to offer a good mileage at a competitive price tag. Hayate will hit the Indian showrooms by April 2012.

Design and Style
The Suzuki Hayate comes with edgy and quiky designs like all Japanese bikes and the model resembles like a fish in mind with gills like headlight. The headlight looks really stylish providing a clear vision to the rider while riding at night time or in bad weather conditions. The Hayate has a sportive instrument cluster of blue and white colour combination for the fonts and it has a unique layout. The cluster comprises speedometer, odometer, a low fuel indicator, turn indicators, shift light etc. The switch gear of the bike is very basic and convenient to use. The fuel tank of the bike is large and it is possible to hold 8 litres of fuel with 2 litres of reserve. The Suzuki Hayate comes with a power packed engine ensuring optimum mileage and performance. The Hayate features a 4-stroke, air-cooled, single cylinder OHC engine with bore and stroke as 51 mm x 55.2 mm. The engine of the bike gives the displacement of about 112.8 cc and it also delivers the maximum power of 8.8 PS and the maximum torque of 8.4 NM which is mated with a four-speed gear shifts ensuring smooth ride. The compression ratio of the Hayate is measured as 9.5:1 and it has kick and electric start option which is easy for the rider to choose as per their wish and convenience. The Suzuki Hayate has a non-woven fabric element air cleaner and wet sump lubrication system along with VM17 carburetor.

Suzuki Hayate is packed with an array of safety features such as halogen headlight of 12V 35/35W and tail light of 12V 21/5W providing a crystal clear vision to the riders while riding at night time. The bike has a CDI ignition type and NGK spark plug. The Suzuki Hayate comprises a telescopic, coil spring and oil damped front suspension and swing arm, coil spring and oil damped rear suspension which gives enough safety to the riders. It is well equipped with a 17 inch alloy rims for both front and rear shock absorbers. The bike comes with a wider tyres of size 2.75-17 41P at the front and 3.00-17 50P at the rear.

It has been 3 months I bought this bike.I gave me 55km/l in city conditions and 64km/l on highways both the mileage are got under same traffic conditions.Only problem is wit the air pressure.But when approaching the service agent,they told it will be resolved after a service
Extremely smooth between the speeds of 40km/hr and 60km/hr.I early covered upto 1600kms,no problem is encountered with this bike.Exciting pickup in the 112cc segment bikes.However,it lacks a bit in the looks department.
This is really good bike and mileage is upto 65-70kms /ltr. It has wet multiplate 5 gears 1 up
Hi my all dear friends.. I bring hayate on 1st jan. 2013. It is worlds bad bike.. What to do with good look ..?? What to do with low cost...??? As u also told as good 72 kmpl miledge but it gives only 42 to 46 kmpl average..
What is the average of this motor cycle.
