Volkswagen has finally decided to launch the people’s car Beetle in India. The beetle will be launched in India by 2009. Beetle which is manufactured in Mexico for VW’s worldwide supplies and could come to India through the completely built unit import route. “Beetle will come here. After strengthening our dealership network, it will come next year,” Volkswagen India President and Managing Director Joerg Mueller told. Volkswagen which currently has eight dealers in the country and plans to increase to 15 by the end of this year.
