Tata Motors plans to launch a blitzkreig on its competition with a launch of new models. Recently, Tata launched its first crossover Aria. Following the Aria will be the venture and magic iris (which was showcased at 2010 Auto Expo). In 2011, Tata plans to launch a refreshed version of existing safari (safari facelift), all new Safari (may not retain the safari name) based on the new Aria platform, a new pick-up and a new Indica Vista. While the safari facelift will be just another launch, the next generation Safari would be a major launch. Tata’s next generation safari is expected to come with advanced technological features like electronic stability program and it would comply tougher EURONCAP safety norms. The next gen safari will take on the Mahindra’s soon-to-be-launched world SUV. The new Indica Vista is expected to be the Vista 90 we driven few weeks back.
