A new family car from Maruti Eeco, at 1200cc petrol engine and Rs4 lakh is set for display in the ensuing Auto Expo. The car is exclusive domestic oriented and to comply with Bharat Stage IV norms and is the result of three years of technical development, said the engineers from Maruti. The car will have a 3-row seat with space for 5-7 passengers and will be segmented under C. according to the company’s marketing executive officer the new car will display the energized expertise of the engineers in moulding the car and making it indigenous. Thus, Maruti is transforming the apex Suzuki’s dream of converting the Indian unit as a global hub for small car with focus on R&D.
