The JV between M&M and Renault on 51:49 is getting a new frame of operations keeping on track the Logan sedan. Under the refined approach, the JV would like to push off 500 units a month, said President of M&M for Automotive Sector. Consequently, the entire system in purchase, sales and engineering has undergone transition to lower volumes.
The publicity and marketing propaganda will be devised on the need of the hour. This is in contrast to the earlier predicament about the number logic- 1000- but now the position is to be contented with 500 units per month. Mahindra Renault would like to compensate the last fiscal’s loss occurred out of Logan- Rs.500 crore. The Nashik plant was face lifted to produce 50000 units per annum but Logan could not muster the necessary sale volume.
