  1. I am surprised that fellow Indians have falled hook line and sinker for the Verna just for its power. In the refinement and low end responsiveness stakes, The Feista and the Swift diesels are far superior. The Maruti Swift Diesel is the best engine available from all perspectives today. ALL Perspectives!

  2. This is great news for Verna fans. A great product becoming even better. Hope Hyundai does not raise the price. It needs to fight it out with Fiat Linea both in the petrol and diesel segment.

  3. I was told by some one that Verna has a flaw in the basic deign which results in a very early wear and tear of tyres… Upon checking, many people have validated this claim and seen a couple of guys change their decision of buying verna because of this inherent problem… Is hyundai addressing this problem this time around????

  4. Well Automatic option is a welcome sign and it shouldn’t be over priced vis-a-vis the manual to make it a hit. But why is it only 4 speed – In this segment 5 speed is the norm (Honda City)?
