*Bajaj has launched much awaited pulsar 200cc india’s first bike engine to have oil cooler.By May, the Pulsar 220 cc with fuel injection will be launched and the following month the 200 cc cruiser bike Avenger will hit the market. Fuel injected DTS-i 220 cc bike could cost about Rs. 80,000-Rs 85,000, while the just launched 200 cc Pulsar DTS-i had been priced at Rs. 65,497. PGM-FI–programmed fuel injection.Fuel injection(direct injection of fuel into the cylinder against through carburettor) has long been used in cars(u might have heard MPFI in maruti cars like swift).Hero Honda Glamour FI is the India’s first fuel injected version of bike.Fuel Injection gives you better pick-up and fuel efficiency than carburretor version of a bike.Overdrive magazine has calculated that premium you pay for these bikes equals the savings on fuel.
