Tomorrow Piaggo is about to launch the limited edition Vespa Elegante at Pune evnt in India.The price tag would come around Rs 79,000.The mechanical specifications remain untouched that the same 125cc air-cooled engine is said to power up the model.With an intention to differentiate it from the current range of Vespa scooters that include LX 125, VX 125 and the Vespa S,a few cosmetic changes have been applied to it.It can be seen in the form of triangular front grille, round head light, and tubeless tyres.Introduction of the retro split seat configuration,is going to be its highlighting feature. Though its base remains to be the VX 125,the design traits have been borrowed from the company’s international model,Primavera, that gives the scooter a unique look in the Vespa lineup. Elegante will be available in pearl white and marrakech brown in addition to the current color options that are available in the market.
