R3 will have petrol and diesel engine options. While the R3 diesel is the known SX4 DDIs engine developing 89bhp of peak power. Maruti will give the R3 an all new K14 engine. 1.4L engine developing 95bhp of peak power and 130Nm of peak torque will power this mass mover. With a wheel base of 2740mm, R3 should carry 7 passengers comfortably. R3 will take on Mahindra xylo and Tata sumo grande and pricing would be around Rs8lakhs.
