Mahindra Electric has named its new 4-Door electric car the e2o Plus. Now, beside naming the new electric vehicle, Mahindra has also released teaser images of the same.

The teaser of the 4-Door version is aimed at family buyers, who would prefer to have such comfort, as India is traditionally known to embrace such functional comforts.

Mahindra has officially announced that the new electric car will be called the “e2o Plus”. The e2o means “energy to oxygen”, which hints at its zero emissions, with it being a fully electric car.

The “Plus”, on the other hand, indicates being “positive” on the lives of the buyers and the environment by being a zero emissions car. With emission norms becoming stringent in India and awareness on the rise, Mahindra Electric’s new electric cars are likely to be well received in the coming years.

Expected to launch soon, the e2o Plus is the next generation model of the current e2o. Besides zero emissions, it will also come with low running costs and home charging facility.

Charging will also be carried out faster in the e2o Plus than with the e2o. Its range is also set to increase in the new generation model and bring with it new styling cues in the exteriors.

Mahindra also promises that the e2o Plus is full of plusses. It will also have additional space, besides improved range and fast charging. The Indian carmaker also believes that the e2o Plus “will be a game changer” among both electric cars and cars with fuel powertrains.

Buyers of the e2o Plus will also be relieved from fuel expenses, which cost them a bomb, even for mere commuting purposes, no matter how much the mileage of a vehicle is. Complete independence from dependence on fuel is in itself a boon and so e2o Plus is likely to be purchased in large volumes.
