The Swift’s 1.3L engine is also going to power the next generation indica – Indica V3 and Fiat’s Punto. Hyundai has also introduced beige colour interiors for the new getz prime diesel. The new 1.5-litre Getz prime diesel would qualify for the lower 16% excise duty. The Getz Prime Diesel would be available after the first week of October just at the beginning of the festive season. Hyundai has priced getz prime CRDi Rs 5.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Getz prime diesel is Rs73,000 pricier than the swift diesel VDI model. Hyundai’s getz prime diesel will target not just swift’s lovers but also the waiting fabia customers. Hyundai in April 2007 had launched the new Getz Prime in two variants – a 1.1 litre and a 1.3 litre model.
