Honda Motorcycle and Rajasthan government ink a pact for two-wheeler project

India’s premium two wheeler maker Honda Motorcycle and Rajasthan government have entered into a pact for a two wheeler project in Tapukara of Alwar district. The pact was inked by the Principal Secretary for Industries, of the Government and President and CEO of Honda Motorcycels and Scooters India. The Vice-President of Honda Siel Cars was also present in which other officials of the government took part.

To be set up at an investment of Rs500crore, the plant will have the capacity for 6 lakh annual units. The second phase will come off at an investment of Rs1100 crore for making12 lakh annual units. the formal function will be held on May 31 in the presence of the Rajasthan CM. the Minister for the Rajasthan government claimed that the project may help generate 3000 direct employment during the fitst three years. Indirect employment will be made available for 10000 persons. Rajasthan government is keen on promoting new avenues in the automobile industry. There is an offering of a customized package like and incentives like industrial land for the project.
