Following the HX250R, Hero motocorp will unveil a superbike. Yes its a superbike codenamed as Hastur. The hastur bike will be a 600cc model competing against the likes of KTM duke 690. Hero Hastur 600cc is being jointly developed with its Erik Buell Racing. Its important to remember, Hero picked up majority stake after its split with Honda and ever since the duo has been working together for various bikes.
Hero Hastur 600cc will be at conceptual stage when its unveiled at the auto expo. However, Hero looks into put into production mainly for international markets as Hero plans to expand globally. But how comes Hero shocks not only its competitors but also the consumers with jaw dropping concepts. Will the concepts turn into reality? will they be affordable? how come Hero suddenly leaps in the learning curve when other manufacturers like Bajaj and TVS are taking step-by-step?
