Fiat India which has been buzzing with impressive sales of Punto and Linea wants to ride on the success of the models. Come 2010, at Delhi Auto Expo Fiat will showcase the powerful linea. Currently, Fiat linea is powered by 1.3L diesel engine and 1.4L petrol engine. Linea owners which boasts about its features complains on lack of necessary punch. Fiat has powerful diesel engines – 1.6L and 1.9L one of which will make into India. The 1.6L Multijet produces 120PS of peak power. The 1.9L multijet version comes with two configurations – 8 valves and 16 valves. These engines have four different power outputs – 100PS, 120PS,130PS and 150PS.
