Lets recall the 2011 auto story for a while. Automotive industry has gone through many ups and downs in 2011. It started with a double digit growth but the euphoria waned gradually. Rising interest rate – customers could not get liquidity to buy a car, high inflation which means less disposable income and higher fuel price – deterrent to go for a purchase affected the India’s automotive story. But even in the midst of tough conditions, few manufacturers pulled out few success which made the customers to make a beeline to the showroom. The new Maruti Swift and Mahindra XUV 500 are the finest examples. As an auto website, its not just our job to point out bad stuffs about the car or criticise a bad move of a manufacturer but also to appreciate them when they make incredible things. We wish our readers supports the same.
