TVS Motors showcased its new concept street fighter bike Draken 250cc at the ongoing Auto Expo. The Draken is powered by a 4 Valve, liquid cooling, DOHC engine with a displacement very close to 249.2 cc. The engine of the bike is mated to a six speed gearbox which produces the maximum power of 38.50 BHP @ 12000 RPM and maximum torque of 23 NM @ 9500 RPM.
The bike is expected to deliver healthy mileage of approximately 33.3 kmpl which is quite impressive. The liquid cooling technology of the bike helps to get rid off the heat and allows the engine to be very cool. The exhaust is kept below the engine and coming out ahead of the front brake lever. The overall weight of the bike is measured as 134 kgs and the fuel tank capacity of the bike is nearly 10-litre. The TVS Draken provides the wheelbase of 1340 mm along with the ground clearance of about 170 mm.
