Nissan to export Sunny from March

nissan sunny 2.jpgNissan is in a plan to export its Sunny sedan from March. Regarding this, Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama, Managing Director and CEO of Nissan Motor India said that they will be exporting Sunny by March-end. Already they were exporting Micra to many countries. Initially, Sunny will be exported to Middle East market.

He also said on their future plans,the company would be increasing its capacity of the Chennai plant owing to increase in production. He assured that initially the plant’s annual capacity is two lakh units and they will increase it to four lakh units by March.

Nissan has invested Rs. 2,800 Crores at the Chennai facility which would be sufficient for the plant expansion. At present, Micra and Sunny are being manufactured at the Chennai plant at Orgadam.
