We have done it again! Like we revelead the 2011 swift specifications before anyone, read the specifications of 2012 Swift dzire or swift 3.99 first at vicky.in. Eversince the new swift hit the market, we all know a new dzire based on new swift is coming. We recently revealed you that Maruti may name it as swift 3.99 and might co-exist with existing dzire. Either its the 2012 dzire or Swift 3.99, following are the speciifications of the model. Swift 3.99 as the name suggests would be 3.9m in length, 1.6m wider and 1.5m taller. However the wheelbase of swift 3.99 would be same as the swift hatchback – 2.43m only. Also like the swift, base variant of swift 3.99 would run on 165/80 R14 tyres and top variants would use 185/65 R15 rubber. Weighing around 1000kg, swift 3.99 petrol will be powered K-series 1.2L engine developing 87PS of max power at 6000rpm and 114Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. The engine will come with 5-speed manual transmission and mileag of swift 3.99 petrol would be around 18.5kmpl under standard conditions.
