Mahindra plans to launch a new electric scooter, GenZe in US by middle of this year. GenZe has been developed in Silicon Valley. The scooter was first unveiled in US by last year. The company does not reveal the specification about the scooter.
GeneZe offers large amount of space in the bucket which is located behind the vehicle. It gets weather proof 7 inch touch screen display which is more efficient than ordinary instrument cluster. It provides the data such as distance covered and battery remaining. The user can use the GPS application.
This electric scooter gets space to carry laptop, mobile or any other handheld devices. So the rider can charge the laptop and mobile through USB while riding. It is expected to offer a top speed of 50kmph. The vehicle includes 1.8 bhp motor, replaceable lithium ion integrated power module which comprises of battery pack, controller and charger.
