Hyundai plans to launch an all new i20 with some attractive features. The new i20 has been spotted testing in Chennai. The new i20 will receive a new design completely when compared to the current car. The company has added a lot of new features in this car. The new i20 is based on an all new platform. It will include new headlights, tail lights and a grille.
The current i20 has two petrol and one diesel engine options. The 1396 cc, 16 valve CRDi engine which can churn out peak power of 89 bhp and peak torque of 220 Nm. The 1336cc diesel engine and 1197cc petrol engine can deliver maximum power output of 89 bhp and 83 bhp respectively.
It will be available with petrol engine as well as diesel engine options. Hyundai plans to bring automatic transmission options for the both petrol and diesel engine options. We can expect the launch of this new i20 during the festive season. The prices of this new i20 will start at Rs.5 lakhs approximately.
