The much-awaited Bajaj’s small car christened RE 60 has been unveiled today. Bajaj in partnership with Nissan and Renault has developed this low emission car. The price details of the car has not yet revealed.
Rajiv Bajaj informed that RE 60 is expected to yield a fuel efficiency of 35km/litre. He also added that the company expected to close FY12 with exports of Rs 6500 cr and they aimed to export 16 lakh units by end-FY12.
The RE 60 is developed on an all-new platform and is first launched as a commercial vehicle. The upgraded three wheeler features path-breaking fuel efficiency with an expected top speed of 60-70kph. RE60 will toughly compete with Tata Magic Iris than the Nano.
