Hero Dare Vs Dash Vs Duet

Hero Motorcorp has unveiled their new range of products including the new scooters and also motorcycles in the 2014 Auto Expo. The Dare and Dash scooters were showcased at the Auto Expo while the other model Duet was not showcased. Here you can find out the differences between the scooters such as Dare, Dash and Duet from Hero.

Hero Dare, the masculine scooter in 125cc segment. Dare measures 1820mm in length, 975mm in width, and 1180mm in height. The ground clearance of the Dare scooter is 155mm.

It includes 30mm telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers for front suspension and single hydraulic shock absorber at rear. It comes with tubeless tyres with the size of 190/90 R12 at the front side and 100/90 R10 at the rear. The Dare gets 200mm hydraulic disc brake and 130mm drum brake at both front and rear respectively. The fuel tank capacity of Dare scooter is 6 litre and a usable reserve capacity is 3.8 litre.

Hero Dare gets 124.6cc, air cooled, 4 stroke, OHC engine. The engine can generate maximum power output of 9.5PS at 7500rpm and maximum torque output of 9.8 Nm at 6500rpm.

Hero Dash will be powered by 110cc, air cooled, 4 stroke, OHC engine which can generate maximum power output of 8.4PS and maximum torque output of 9.4Nm.

Hero Duet will get the  same 110cc single cylinder power train from the Dash scooter. So it can produce similar power and torque output figures.

The kerb weight of Dare and Dash scooter are 114Kg and 110 Kg respectively.
